The Portuguese firm Asfertglobal had an important increase in sales during 2021, thanks to a greater share in international markets. The multinational, dedicated to the development and commercialization of biofertilizers, biostimulants and biocontrol products, reported a 38% rise in its annual income, to a new record, which was not disclosed.
This increase, occurred in a context of general shortage in the supply of raw materials and the crisis generated by the global pandemic, was achieved thanks to the impulse of emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Central America and the United States.
Bet on Mexico
Asfertglobal, which conducts research in conjunction with the University of Lisbon, entered key global markets in 2021, such as Eastern Europe, Central America and the United States, in addition to making its first export to China in the middle of the year.
Durante el año pasado, además, la compañía, abrió su tercera filial en México, en donde aumenta su portafolio de productos. Recientemente, la firma informó que se le han concedido registro de productos, como Cuperdem, Eckosil y Kiplant Ca, por parte de la Secretaria de Salud de México y COFEPRIS – Comisión Federal para la Protección Contra Riesgos Sanitarios.
