Asfertglobal increases sales by 38% in 2021 and registers new products in Mexico
The Portuguese firm Asfertglobal had an important increase in sales during 2021, thanks to a greater share in international markets. The multinational, dedicated to the development and commercialization of biofertilizers, biostimulants and biocontrol products, reported a 38% rise in its annual income, to a new record, which was not disclosed.
This increase, occurred in a context of general shortage in the supply of raw materials and the crisis generated by the global pandemic, was achieved thanks to the impulse of emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Central America and the United States.
Bet on Mexico
Asfertglobal, which conducts research in conjunction with the University of Lisbon, entered key global markets in 2021, such as Eastern Europe, Central America and the United States, in addition to making its first export to China in the middle of the year.
In addition, last year the company launched its third subsidiary in Mexico, country in which it is expanding its portfolio of products. Recently, the firm announced it has been granted the registration of products, such as Cuperdem, Eckosil and Kiplant Ca, by the Mexican Secretary of Health and COFEPRIS - Federal Commission for Protection Against Sanitary Risks.
